Juan Carlos Valdez

Juan Carlos Valdez, a computer animator and visual artist, possesses a diverse skill set that spans animation, CG modeling, character design, filmmaking, motion graphics, video editing, graphic design, and concept art. He achieved academic success with a BFA and MFA in Computer Animation from Miami International University of Art and Design, earning recognition on the dean’s and president’s lists multiple times.

He began his professional career as a freelance artist in South Florida, later collaborating with Accord Video Productions on projects for Sony, Discovery Channel, Burger King, and The History Channel. Transitioning to education, he taught art, art history, and graphic design at South Dade Senior High School, and later at institutions including Digital Media Arts College, Miami Dade College, and Palm Beach State College.

For five years, Valdez owned Wellington Collegiate Academy, a prestigious private school in Wellington, FL, where he developed an inspiring art and animation program. His leadership and teamwork skills make him an asset to any project, while his fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese enhances communication across diverse backgrounds.
