Visual Effects Diploma Program

The visual effects diploma program can be completed in as little as 12 months, attending full-time.  This is a hybrid program that combines nine months of online classes and three months of in person learning in Orlando. During the three-month studio residency, you will create two entire projects, managed as a VFX studio environment. You learn pre-production, production and post-production in real-time and convergence techniques, and immerse VR to name a few. This experience will prepare you with a demo reel to secure employment after graduation.

During the visual effects diploma program, you learn character, prop and environment modeling, 3D animation, visual effects, lighting and texturing, history of film FX, digital compositing, green screen keying, rotoscoping, 2D/3D tracking as well as creating a demo reel and portfolio.  The core courses include the fundamentals of asset creation and 3D design, 3D animation, compositing and FX, and real-time technologies and studio production. You will follow in the footsteps of DAVE School alumni that have worked on projects including the Mandalorian.
