THE DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE HURRICANE MILTON
Students,
In response to Hurricane Milton, all in-person classes and activities at the DAVE School campus scheduled after 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, as well as on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, and Thursday, October 10, 2024, have been canceled.
Classes are expected to resume as normal on Friday, October 11, 2024, unless further updates are provided. To compensate for the missed time, two additional hours of class will be added starting Friday, October 11, 2024, through Friday, October 18, 2024.
Please note that the Learning Management System (Canvas) will remain accessible, and DAVE School staff will be available remotely to assist you.

NUC University, The DAVE School is actively monitoring Tropical Storm Milton and its potential impact on our campus communities, students, and staff.At this time, campus operations will continue as usual on Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8, 2024. However, we are prepared to take necessary precautions should the situation change. Students will be notified of any changes to scheduled classes on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, and if make-up time is necessary.

THE DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE TROPICAL STORM HELENE
In response to the approaching Tropical Storm Helene, all in-person classes and activities scheduled for Thursday, September 26th, 2024, have been canceled at the DAVE School campus.
Barring any further updates, classes will resume as normal on Friday, September 27th, 2024. To make up for the missed day, we will add two additional hours of class on Friday, September 27th, Monday, September 30th, and Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.

The DAVE School is actively monitoring Tropical Storm Debby’s path and how it will impact our campus communities, students, and staff. With abundant caution, we decided to change the schedule for the week of August 5.
THE DAVE SCHOOL CAMPUSES
- On-campus sessions at the DAVE School for Monday, August 5, will be cancelled.
- The Canvas LMS will remain available and open for assignments to be submitted.

- The Instructors will provide details in their announcements regarding online and virtual sessions. Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions.

DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE HURRICANE IDALIA
Class sessions were canceled on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Classes will resume on Thursday, August 31, 2023, and make-up days will be communicated to the students by the faculty.
Administrative staff will be working and be available remotely.
The Canvas Learning Management System will remain open, and students may continue to engage in their classes remotely; however, live sessions will not be scheduled tomorrow.

The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Idalia and how it will impact our campus communities, students, and staff. At the moment, classes will be held as scheduled. The Online and virtual sessions will commence, the Canvas Learning Management System will be available, and Instructors will schedule the live sessions.

DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE TROPICAL STORM NICOLE
The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Nicole and how it will impact our campus communities, students, and staff.
In an abundance of caution, we decided to change the campus schedules for the remainder of the week:
- Classes will meet at regularly scheduled times for Wednesday, Nov. 9th. The campus will close at 4:30p on Wednesday, following the last class of the day. Students should return home immediately following class.
- On Thursday, all courses will have remote instruction. All staff will work remote, and campus will be closed to visitors.
- Friday, the campus, courses, and Xlab will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day.
- The Virtual Xlab will be available for regularly scheduled assistance from 6-10p on Wednesday and Thursday. It will be closed Friday and Saturday for the holiday weekend.
Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions and links for class.

DAVE UPDATE TROPICAL HURRICANE IAN
The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of hurricane Ian and how it will impact our campus communities. In an abundance of caution, we decided to change the class schedule for the week of September 26, 2022: All Diploma Classes will meet on Tuesday, 9/27 this week only. We will cancel diploma classes for Wednesday, 9/28/2022, and Thursday, 9/29/2022. All students must attend makeup sessions for these courses on both Friday Oct. 7 and Friday Oct. 14.
Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions. Campuses will be open and we will continue to update our website and social media pages with changes to this announcement or campus closures.
