A college for Creative Careers located on the backlot of Universal Studios Florida™
Our degrees can be your first step for a creative and emerging technologies career in the United States
Visual Effects Production
Visual Effects (VFX) include everything that is added to a film or TV program after the filming is complete - the explosions, helicopters, or the transformation of 21st-century New York into 1920s New York. Smoke, water, and oceans, or worlds and environments come to life through Visual Effects.
Our students enhance their skills in an immersive combination of workflows that emulate a real studio, preparing them to advance in the VFX workplace.
The Game Production program begins with a comprehensive introduction to the principles of hard surface modeling (such as vehicles, buildings, and armor), then advances to the art and science of texturing, lighting, and "look development." After that, DAVE School students explore organic modeling and digital sculpting in ZBrush, creating creatures, people, and animals.
Next, they have their first real contact with real-time game engines, learning the Unreal Engine, the driving force behind so many successful game titles.
Our Virtual Production degree combines Visual Effects Production and Game Production programs to offer a comprehensive education in real-time technologies.
In addition to everything covered in Visual Effects and Game programs, students will learn how to use virtual LED wall environments, lighting and production techniques for photorealistic real-time production, emerging production technologies, and many cutting-edge approaches to the constantly evolving world of contemporary media creation.

Adriana Bolaños - Mexico
“I started the game program without any prior artistic abilities. It only took about a year of training and my career began shortly after. In 5 years, I've had the opportunity to work on amazing titles such as The Last of Us Part 2, Gotham, and Agents of Shield. The first time I stepped into a studio, I felt nervous! But thanks to the training at the DAVE School , I also felt ready.”
"After my year at the DAVE School, I was hired by Technicolor and put into the Lighting Academy in Montreal. A film needed to be delivered and I was put right into the Layout department working on my first movie, CATS. I am thankful for the training I received from DAVE School."

"I got offered a permanent position as a 3D artist at Random 42. I have accepted the job and will be moving to London permanently this weekend to start working."
