Check out all of these projects that our graduates have worked on!
The last movie in the Venom series is Venom The Last Dance, which came out only in theaters on October 25th, and graduates Ross Ovington and Jason Bradbury worked on the film as a lighting TD!
The latest EA game is Dragonage The Veilguard, which came out on October 31st. Graduate Tanner Dunworth worked on the game as a Technical Animator!
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 came out on October 25th and graduate Avani Jain worked on the game as an Associate Producer!
The drama series Before was released on Apple TV on October 25th, and graduate Brendon Green worked on the show as a compositor!
The horror film Elevation was released only in theaters on November 8th, and graduates Chris Cheng, Bryan Haines, and Rick Ramirez all worked on the movie!
The latest game from Obsidian is called Avowed, which was released on November 12th, and graduate Shawn Lopez worked on the game as an animator
The Netflix original film The Piano Lesson will start streaming on Netflix on November 8th, and graduates Tanner Bartlett, Chris Cheng, Erika Chlupsa, Tyler Usie, and Duncan Key all worked on the film!
The holiday action film Red One was released only in theaters on November 15th, and graduates Jessica Chiarella and Toni Maria Chiarella worked on the movie as compositors!
The second installment of the 6th season of Cobra Kai was released on Netflix on November 15th, and Bryan Haines, a graduate, worked on the series!
The HBO Original series Dune Prophecy began streaming on November 17th, and Breno Guinart, a graduate, worked on it as a lead artist!
The series premiere of Interior Chinatown began streaming on Hulu on November 19th and graduate Jon Rosenthal was the on-set VFX Supervisor!
The film adaptation of Wicked was released only in theaters on November 22nd, and graduates Carlos Barrios and Les Foor worked on the movie!
Disney’s Moana 2 will be released only in theaters on November 27th and graduates Wes Chilton and David Maldonado worked on the film!
The Netflix Rom-Com Our Little Secret begins streaming on November 27th, and graduate Erika Chlupsa and Bryan Haines worked on the film!
It’s Goonies meets Star Wars in Skeleton Crew, which begins streaming on Disney + on December 2nd, and graduates Andrew Rhinehart, Selena Farkas, and Jason Bradbury all worked on the series!
The latest film from A24 is Y2K, which will be released only in theaters on December 6th. Graduate Bryan Haines worked on the film!

INDUSTRY CRITIQUES ARE ALMOST HERE!!
Every term we have industry professionals come on campus to offer portfolio reviews and on December 12th we will be doing it again! If you have been working in the industry for 5 years or more and would like to participate please drop me an email!
DAVE School will be at the IITSEC conference from December 2nd to 6th, so if you’re going, come by our booth and say hello!
DAVE School will also be at the Holiday Matsuri on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd, so if you’re going, come by our booth and say hello!

A ‘Fresher” is an artist who is fresh to the industry and a Certified Fresher is a recent DAVE School graduate that we are promoting as someone who has the right work ethic, attitude, and skill level to start working immediately!

MEMORY LANE
I’m excited to bring a new element to my newsletter, and I call it ‘Memory Lane“! The DAVE School has had so many amazing student-created projects over the years and I thought it would be fun to revisit one of them with each newsletter!
This student-created project is called “Star Wars: The Solo Adventures,” and it was created by the graduating class of June 2010 in just under 12 weeks! The project was directed by Dan Smith, and it was submitted to the Star Wars Celebration V fan film contest and won for best animation!
