ALUMNI HAPPENINGS
The drama biopic Genius MLK/X was released on February 1st on National Geographic, Hulu, and Disney+ and graduates Duncan Key. Tyler Usie, Jasper Baltzersen, Chris Cheng, and Bryan Haines all worked on it!
The second season of HALO was released on Paramount+ on February 2nd and graduate Nick Dauphanais worked on the show as a compositor!
The romantic comedy Lisa Frankenstein was released in theaters on February 9th and graduate Gerardo Garcia worked on the film as a compositor!
The Marvel film Madame Web was released only in theaters on February 14th, and graduate Nick Dauphanais worked on the movie as a compositor!
The second season of Will Trent was released on ABC on February 20th, and grads Eion-Ray Patterson, Kollen Wasylean, and Zach Meyer all worked on the show!
The much anticipated Avatar: The Last Airbender was released on Netflix on February 22nd, and grads Jeff King, Rob Tobin, Riley Brown, Evander Major, and Hope Brackin all worked on the film!
The drama series Shogun will begin airing on FX starting on February 27th and Graduate Michael Cliett worked on it as a VFX Supervisor / Producer and grad Leo Pritchard worked on it as a compositor!
The latest Coen brothers film is Drive Away Dolls which came out only in theaters on February 23rd and graduate Evander Major worked on it as a compositor!
The long awaited Dune Part Two will be released only in theaters on March 1st, and grads April Singleton, Selena Farkas, Brad Henke, and Lin Fan Liu all worked on the film!
Graduate Chris Hanel has created a feature-length project entitled The Minnesota Twins and the Cruelest Streak in Sports, which is now available on YouTube!
DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda 4 will be released only in theaters on March 8th, and grads Wes Chilton, Alex Heffner, and Peyton Glover both worked on the film!
A huge congratulations to 2015 graduate Doua Phillipe Gue because two projects he has worked on have just won awards! The ‘Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire’ won Best Limited Series at 2024 Annie Awards and MLB The Show 23 won Sports Game of the Year at the 27th annual Dice Awards! Congrats Doua!
