DAVE School to Host On-Campus Open House on October 29th

DAVE School is hosting an On-Campus Tour & Open House on Friday, October 29th at our campus on the backlot of Universal Studios Florida™. The Open House will run between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

During this open house, you will learn about DAVE School's programs in Visual Effects, Game Production, Virtual Production, and Digital Graphic Design.

Visual Effects Diploma Program

The VFX course begins with a comprehensive introduction to the principles of hard surface modeling (vehicles, buildings, armor, etc.), then moves to the art and science of texturing, lighting, and “look development.” You will then explore organic modeling and digital sculpting in ZBrush and create creatures, people, and animals. This diploma program can be completed in as little as 12 months, attending full-time.

Game Production Diploma Program

Game Production is a collaborative endeavor. The three-month studio residency on campus allows you to work together under the direct guidance of your instructors. You will join forces on the pre-production techniques of a real game of your own making, seeing it through the Alpha, Beta, and Gold Production levels. This diploma program can be completed in as little as 12 months, attending full-time.

Virtual Production Diploma Program

Our flagship Virtual Production (VP) diploma teaches everything from both the VFX and GAME programs and real-time technologies. You will learn: how to use LED wall virtual sets, lighting and production techniques for photo-real, real-time production, emerging production technologies, and many leading-edge approaches to the ever-evolving world of contemporary media creation. This diploma program can be completed in as little as 18 months, attending full-time.

Digital Graphics Design Diploma Program

The Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Graphic Design will equip graduates with the skills to apply real-world art techniques through the combination of different media such as computer-generated imagery, film, and studio design. The students will be able to build the opening credits for film, design multi-media presentations, and create graphic commercial art for business operations. The students will learn and understand principles of composition, color theory, typography, design, compositing, and animation using a variety of software. This diploma program can be completed in as little as 36 months, attending full-time.

You will also view our facilities and get an in-depth look of what the day to day life looks like on the DAVE School campus. This event is free and registration is required. If you have any questions about our on-campus open house, please give us a call at (407)385-1100
